Jenny is a writer. She likes writing short stories, but she often finds it hard to find good ideas for her stories. One day, on her way to the office, she saw an old man lying(躺)on the ground. Jenny is a kind person and she often helps poor people. This time was no different. She came to the old man and helped him stand up.

When we watch movies about the future(未来), we sometimes see robots. They are usually just like our helpers. They help with the housework and do jobs like working in dirty or dangerous places. Today there are robots working in factories. They help to do jobs over and over again but never get bored.
New robots will have many different shapes. Some will just look like humans, and others may look like animals. For example, a robot made by Wuhan University looks like a man. It can walk ,run and jump. Its special hand can pick things up just like a human hand. Another robot made in Japan looks like a snake, long and thin. It is used to look for people under the buildings when buildings fall down(倒塌)with people inside.
Scientists are now trying to make robots do the same things as us. Mr. White thinks that robots won't be able to do this. But some scientists disagree. They think that robots will even be able to talk like humans in 25 to 50 years. Future robots will have all kinds of looks. Who knows what amazing things robots will do in the future?
